The fashionable designs of Terry de Havilland and Salvatore Ferragamo are all prepared to attain its position this September at Sadler’s Wells’ upcoming shoe production. The shoe producer, Suzanne Walker convinced Terry de Havilland about the shoes to be a part of their collection. Director Stephen Mear desired to make a unique piece highly inspired by seventies, Your Mums Shoes, where the tap dancers would perform and this was the perfect place where the footwear could be showcased.
Terry de Havilland’s passion for the performers was his main inspiration to get the shoes made. A special dance act and song will be named and dedicated to them by Salvatore Ferragamo, the Italian mark. A replica of the original creation pieces would be specially made for six female dancers to perform. The original pieces have been specially designed keeping in mind Carmen Miranda, Judy Garland and Marilyn Monroe.
The whole programme would be choreographed by the famous writer and composer Richard Thomas. He has also created a dance show Jerry Springer: The Opera, Shoes before which showcased the varieties and patterns of Crocs and Christian Louboutin collection. The show would be planned in such a way that all the features of these shoes are known.
